What this site is. An independent editorial resource about fencing in the Tampa Bay area of Florida. It sells nothing, installs nothing and takes no bookings.
Access is free and requires no account.
Accuracy and currency. We take care with sources and we date every figure, and we still cannot warrant that everything here is accurate, complete or current at the moment you read it. Codes are amended, fee schedules are reissued, and figures gathered in one month are stale in another.
Content is provided as it is, without warranties of any kind, and you are responsible for verifying anything that matters to your project with the authority that governs your address.
No professional relationship. Reading this site, using its calculators, or corresponding with us creates no contractor, engineer, surveyor, attorney or consultant relationship between us. See the disclaimer for the full position, particularly on pool barriers.
The calculators. Every tool on this site produces an estimate expressed as a range, built from published rate constants that are printed on the page with their dates and sources. An estimate is not a quote, not an offer, and not a prediction of what any contractor will charge you.
Rate constants carry verification flags and are revised on a stated cadence.
Intellectual property. The text, tables, research compilations and original assets on this site belong to Tampa Bay Fence Co. You may quote short passages with attribution and a link.
You may not republish pages wholesale, scrape the site systematically, or reproduce its research compilations as your own. Statutes, codes and ordinances quoted here are public documents and belong to nobody.
Links out. We link to statutes, municipal codes, county departments and manufacturers' specifications. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content or their availability, and a link is not an endorsement.
Your conduct. Do not attempt to interfere with the site's operation, gain unauthorized access to any part of it, or use automated tools to place load on it beyond ordinary reading.
Governing law. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, and any dispute belongs to the courts sitting there.
Changes. We may revise these terms; the date above will change when we do. Continued use after a revision is acceptance of it.
